Why is the Map Lagging or Incorrect?

The map doesn't refresh from scratch too often. If you've run a lot of searches, you may need to refresh the whole page.

I Got a HTTP Status 500 Error!

For performance reasons, thirty minutes after your search the result set is purged from the system. If you haven't reset your query, you can just search it again to get the results back. Don't forget to hit the Return to Last Searched View button.

Why do the results display in sets of 26?

There are 26 letters in the alphabet, and we're using them all.

My search results come back really slowly, how can I speed this up?

• Zoom closer in to your area of interest.
• Do not sort your results. Spatial sorting especially takes a lot of time.

How do I find my house?

I'm not getting any results, and I know I should be. What's wrong?

1. Have you reset your query?
2. Zoom out from your area of interest, objects that are not entirely contained in the window will not show up in a search.
3. You might change your advanced settings to loosen the search parameters.

How do I get directions to the theatre?

While Globetrotter is heavily powered by Google Maps, it is an entirely separate service. Please visit Google Maps or a similar service for driving directions.
